ThinAir was formed on November 15, 2004 to market wireless GPS-based personal and asset tracking equipment, applications, and solutions. Its management team has significant experience in telemetry, telematics, instrumentation, software, and telecommunication/consumer electronics.

The ThinAir Wireless focuses on Business-to-Business applications and solutions for small to medium sized companies.  One of its divisions, Vision 20/20, targets Business-to-Consumer solutions.  Vision 20/20’s mission is “To positively impact 20 million people by the year 2020,” and it intends to accomplish its mission by offering “Peace of Mind” (POM) products built on state-of-the-art -technologies that we believe offer people the tools necessary to foster awareness of their surrounding and the whereabouts of those for whom they care about most—their family and loved ones.

Vision 20/20 has developed three products—the POM Pilot GPS Tracking System™, the POM Alert System™, and the POM Offender Locator™.

For different reasons, both market segments offer unique means of improving efficiencies and minimizing risk. Utilizing peripherals like computers, cellular phones, and PDA’s to remotely monitor and track assets, as well as receive real-time information, is growing exponentially.
